Office Clerk 

Qualifications

High School/GED required

Customer Service and some office experience required.

Must be able to physically engage in any and all programming while overseeing the Clubhouse program area.

HOURS: 2:30pm to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

REPORTS TO: Club Director

SALARY (Hourly): $15.00

Responsibilities:

• Provide general support to visitors
• Answer phone calls and promptly return messages
• Ensure filing systems are maintained and current
• Maintain inventories of office supplies, first aid supplies, and program materials
• Establish and monitor procedures for record-keeping
• Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints
• Provide office, administrative, and logistical support to ensure our program can run in an efficient and safe manner
• Assist in planning and executing special events as required
• Enter all enrollment data into KidTraxx, BGCFC’s database
• Perform additional relevant duties as assigned
• Participate in mandatory onboarding training sessions
• Receive, sort and route mail; maintain and route publications.

Gym/Game Room Staff

Qualifications

High School/GED required

Must be able to physically engage in any and all programming while overseeing the Clubhouse program area.

HOURS: 2:45pm to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday.

REPORTS TO: Club Director

SALARY (Hourly): $11.00

Responsibilities include:

• Primarily use small-sided games (A small number of players on each side makes it more likely that all will get to participate.)
• Ensure all members get quality playing time in every game
• Use progressive instruction by introducing concepts or rules one at a time to youth
• Check in during tasks and games to ensure youth feel comfortable with the current difficulty level, and adjust the difficulty accordingly
• Provide opportunities for members to self-assess their performance
• Do not use elimination games, or use them sparingly
• Group youth to form even teams, and change and re-form teams frequently
• Ask open-ended, relevant and challenging questions about health decisions
• Provide recognition when youth make choices that support their own health and/or the health of others
• Share personal health challenges and model appropriate and safe ways to address personal difficulties
• Ensure work space is kept clean and in safe, working order

Basketball Season Staff - Position runs from January to mid-March.

Qualifications

High School/GED required

Must be able to bend, twist and lift up to 30 lbs

Shift Hours: Game weekends start Jan. 11th.

Game Weekend shifts are between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. (Saturdays) and 12:15pm and 6:30pm (Sundays.)

Practice shifts: Monday through Friday 6pm to 9pm

Pay: $11 hourly

Reports to Community Engagement Coordinator

Responsibilities include:

Practice shifts are intended to monitor teams & coaches as they practice at the Club gym. Light cleaning at end of shift.

Game Weekends: Staff will rotate through roles as ticket takers, concession sales and game monitor.

Staff will be responsible for cleaning building mid-shift and end of game days.
